ILFORD ILFOTEC DD-X Black & White Film Developer – 1 L
ILFORD ILFOTEC DD-X is a fine-grain liquid developer designed to make full use of film speed while producing negatives that are straightforward to scan or print. It delivers a broad tonal scale with detailed shadows, smooth midtones and controlled highlight separation.

- Fine-grain developer for black-and-white negative film
- Standard working dilution: 1+4 with water
- Used as a one-shot working solution
- Approximately 15 films per litre of concentrate under the manufacturer’s stated workflow
- Especially well matched to ILFORD DELTA films, including DELTA 3200
Using DD-X
Dilute the concentrate with water at 1+4 and use the development time, temperature and agitation recommended for your film and exposure index. Prepare only the working solution needed for the current session.
Safety: This is hazardous photographic chemistry. Wear suitable protective gloves and eye protection, consult the product label and safety data sheet, and keep it away from children. Dispose of used chemistry according to local regulations.
