8×2 Heavy Duty Caster Wheels for SCHLEPP ADVANCE

These 8×2″ (200×50) heavy duty caster wheels can be retrofit to SCHLEPP ADVANCE Camera Cart. The 8×2″ heavy duty caster wheels replace the standard wheels of SCHLEPP ADVANCE and can be assembled to the cart in ca. 20-25 minutes (with the included fasteners and tools).

The set of 4x swivel casters comes with 4 stainless steel mounting plates, bolts, nuts, and tools. The 8×2″ HD wheels are permanently bolted to the cart.

These wheels are NOT compatible with the removable caster wheels option nor with the ADVANCE Twin Casters. 

They are not compatible with SCHLEPP ONE or SCHLEPP ONE-S Camera Carts.

8×2″ CASTER WHEELS 

We sourced and tested these wheels on request of some ADVANCE users / interested customers.

The larger size improves handling on loose gravel, cobblestone, or rougher grounds.

The wheels are made from well damped PU, they are puncture-proof, and maintenance free. The wheel housings are made of coated steel.

OPTION A: All 4 wheels are full-stop swivel casters for improved handling in small locations. 

OPTION B: 2x full stop swivel wheels, 2x fixed direction wheels (no brakes) for superior straight line tracking with higher loads. 

Each caster wheel is about 2.3 KG / 5.1 lbs of weight, adding ca. 8 KG (17.6 lbs) in total to the cart weight – including the mounting plates on the bottom of the ADVANCE base. 

These wheels are sourced components and they were carefully selected due to their size, weight, and functionality. After testing several options, our development team agreed, that this option comes the closest to well-working „Heavy Duty“ caster wheels on SCHLEPP ADVANCE, without the need of making highly individualized, exotic wheel housings for 180-200 € each (x4, housings only), as a set of wheels for 1.000 € most probably does not sell. 

That said, these are not heavy-duty wheels we created, but they work very well on SCHLEPP ADVANCE.
