Ricoh My-1: Ultra-Compact, Pocket-Sized Everyday Film Camera
One of the Smallest Point & Shoot Experiences
The Ricoh My-1 is designed around one core idea: extreme portability. It’s an ultra compact 35mm point & shoot camera that disappears in your pocket, making it perfect for everyday carry. Despite its tiny size, it delivers reliable performance and true film character in a minimalist package.
Super Compact Body – Truly Pocket-Friendly
What makes the My-1 special is its size. It’s noticeably smaller than most compact film cameras, fitting easily into jeans pockets, jackets, or even small bags. This “always with you” design encourages spontaneous shooting and makes it ideal for street photography and travel snapshots.
Fixed Lens for Simple, Natural Shots
Equipped with a fixed wide-angle lens, the Ricoh My-1 keeps things simple. No zoom, no complications just clean, straightforward framing. It’s built for capturing everyday life quickly and effortlessly.
Fully Automatic Operation
The camera handles focus, exposure, and flash automatically. Just load your film and shoot. The built in flash activates in low light conditions, helping you get usable results in almost any environment without manual settings.
Minimal Design, Maximum Convenience
With its sliding lens cover acting as a power switch, the My-1 is ready in seconds. Its minimal control layout makes it extremely beginner friendly while still appealing to experienced shooters who want a lightweight secondary camera.
Perfect for Everyday Carry Photography
The Ricoh My-1 shines as a true “always in your pocket” film camera. It encourages candid shooting and helps you capture moments you would normally miss with larger cameras.
