The Bresser 90/500 Refractor is an excellent telescope for entering into the hobby of astronomy. The 90mm of aperture delivers 200 times more light than the naked eye! Showing craters, valleys and rims on the Moon from nearly 400,000km away in incredible detail.
The Bresser AR-90s with the EQ-3 mount does not only provide highly detailed views of the moon, you can even make out the rings of Saturn millions of kilometres away (at certain times of the year when Saturn is visible), or explore the Great Red Spot of Jupiter, a giant tornado in Jupiter’s atmosphere.
This is a richfield telescope with a relatively short focal length of 500mm making it suitable for traveling and observing large open star clusters and the milky way. The telescope is mounted on a stable German Equatorial EQ-3 Mount which offers a very easy and precise manual tracking of the various celestial objects.
