Blazar MANTIS 100mm 1.33X Full-Frame Anamorphic Lens (PL/E/EF/RF/L/X/Z Mount)
The Blazar MANTIS 100mm 1.33X Anamorphic is the telephoto powerhouse of the MANTIS series, combining cinematic anamorphic character with a beautifully compressed perspective. Designed for full-frame coverage and a 1.33× squeeze ratio, it produces a true 2.39:1 widescreen look on any 16:9 sensor—no open-gate mode needed.
Telephoto Cinemascope Precision
The 100mm focal length is perfect for intimate portraits, dramatic close-ups, and compressed backgrounds. It draws the viewer’s focus directly to your subject while maintaining the signature anamorphic depth and flare. The slight T2.4 aperture allows for buttery smooth background separation and extreme subject isolation.
Signature Anamorphic Aesthetic
- 14-blade oval iris: Produces elongated, cinematic oval bokeh similar to 2× anamorphics.
- Warm amber flares: Adds a rich, filmic glow to highlights and backlit scenes.
- Exceptional sharpness: Maintains detail across the frame with minimal aberration.
- Full-frame compatibility: Ideal for high-resolution cinema and mirrorless cameras.
Optimized for Professional Cinematography
With a consistent 80 mm front diameter and 77 mm filter threads, the MANTIS 100mm integrates seamlessly into any professional setup. Its 0.8-mod gears on focus and aperture rings, smooth 180° focus throw, and tool-less interchangeable mounts (PL, E, EF, RF, L, X, Z) make it versatile and production-ready.
